When you meet Sans for the first time he is quick to talk about how is brother is out to catch humans badly, comparing it to hunting and making him sound fanatical: Most egregiously the first time you meet Sans actually These post and others made me ponder is it real? And as I thought about it I found some good indications that yes, there might be. Even people who do like protective Sans may find that the rest of the fandom takes it overboard, which the skillful writer made a fine post about. The thought provoking and talented artist made an excellent analysis of why the fandom puts Sans in this role, and why they think it is baseless. I have seen some debate about overprotective Sans in the fandom. But are they funny because they blow things way out of proportions or is it because there is some truth to them? I have to admit, even though they do exaggerate and go outside of that is explicitly established in the game, I find them to be absolutely hilarious, I adore them.
